Cere became a runner thanks to a 'dare' with his surgeon following a serious skydiving accident that left him stuck to a wheelchair for years. His determination led him to push hard every day to be able to walk again. Once he left his wheelchair behind, he fulfilled his promise and ran Athens Marathon, NYC Marathon, Rio Marathon, Sydney Marathon and -drum roll- the one that we cover on this podcast: the Great Wall Marathon.
