For our regular listeners today’s podcast will be a little different, my regular co-host Ken is working south of the border in Portland, Oregon and as Jordan was my daughter’s hockey coach last season, Hannah will be joins us in the second half of the podcast to ask Jordan some hockey specific questions from her and her former teammates. Meanwhile I’ll be discussing the principles of effective leadership, why being to explain your ‘why’ is important and why Jordan’s aim is to create better humans, not simply better hockey players

A school principal, Jordan has combined his passions for education and hockey in helping to found hockey programs in his previous two schools. He has coached hockey for many years, volunteered with Hockey Alberta as a coach mentor for the Pee Wee Prospects Cup, Alberta Bantam Challenge and the Alberta Winter Games. In the Alberta Female Hockey League he has coached the Calgary Fire U18 AAA team and most recently the Calgary Fire U18 AA team, a team that ranked #1 in the league and won the Provincial Championship in 2022.
