We’ve left Westeros and ventured over to London to celebrate our favorite messy, dry-witted friend in our head - Fleabag!

INTRO - 59:17

Our two-part discussion kicks off with the stuff we liked this week.  Kristine celebrates all of the exciting new streaming content thanks to Star Wars: The Mandalorian on Disney Plus and the new season of The Crown on Netflix. Jocelyn is excited about Comrade Quilty - a leader in the feline liberation movement - finding his forever home. As for the stuff we didn’t like, we have had it with the lack of nuanced political discourse and the NFL continues to be the worst when it comes to colluding against Colin Kaepernick.

59:18-1:20:29

Our Fleabag discussion kicks off with our overall impressions of the show.  Simply put - we loved it!  Jocelyn also really loves Julia Louis-Dreyfus and manages to work in a salute to one of her favorite comedic actresses during the Fleabag discussion.  Tangents, like drinking and using adult language, are part of the brand!

1:20:30-1:38:37

We move on to discuss our thoughts on each season.  There are really no bad choices in a wonderfully written show with only two seasons, but we did ultimately reach a consensus on which season we liked most.

1:38:38-END

Part one of the discussion closes with our thoughts on our favorite and least favorite episodes.  It should come as no surprise that a show about family, vulnerability, and healing inspired us to open up and lean into our own feelings a bit.

Content/Trigger Warning:  This series focuses largely on the main character grappling with the suicide of her best friend.  As such, our discussion will also touch on this topic as well. We endeavor to handle all topics with care, but also want to alert you to this sensitive content in advance.  The number for the National Suicide Hotline in the US is 1-800-273-8255.
