32 - Coming Out In Kansas w/ Adam Knapp and Kenneth Linn

Another one of our Kinda Famous interviews! THis week we have on the award winning writer, sport, journalist, host, and now filmmaker Adam Knapp and his partner in crime who is no stranger to the I'm Kinda Famous podcast  Kenneth Linn (he is usually running the camera for IKF). Adam and Kenny come on to talk about their highly successful film Out Here in Kansas about the tumultuous relationship between Christians and the LGBTQ community that has been receiving critical acclaim and their new project about the legendary yet little known Wichita Wings. Out Here in Kansas is really well done and entertaining documentary with an amazing ending and a very thought provoking debate between a pastor and a member of the LGBT community'.

This was recorded back in June during the Doc Sunback Film Festival in Mulvane, Ks which is where their film screened for the first time a year ago so we talk about the past year, the process of making your first film, the controversial topic of coming out as gay in Kansas a very conservative state and their new film about the Wichita Wings.
