This week, I sit down with a very special guest. Dacey Haughwout is a long distance cyclist, artist, ceramicist, and all around great human being. I’ve known Dacey all my life. We’re cousins. Growing up, Dacey was one of the people I looked up to the most. He always marched to the beat of his own drum. Dacey is a talented artist, whether it be drawing or pottery, he has always excelled. He is also known to set off onto several month long bike journeys. Five years ago, Dacey rode across the country and we talked all about it. That was EP 45. Five years later, he set his sights on riding his bike up and down the east coast to tour all of ceramic studios along the way. 60 Days of pedaling over 3,300 miles on a $6/day budget.
