Salem Bone Trials

I'm joined by Carley Laughead (@gorgonlover1993 on Twitter) for what was originally supposed to be an episode about she and I making up bad posts to try to get notes on Tumblr in 2015, but, due to a surprise discovery while finding said posts, is instead about that most seminal of Tumblr moments: the infamous Bone Thief. We also discuss Carley learning one of her favorite Tumblr posts is fake & spend far too long talking about the Fallout video game series. I also come off like a huge asshole when I talk about griefing Carley in Town of Salem & how I flipped the table because she caught Mewtwo in the Pokémon board game the turn before I could.

I Like Your Shoelaces is a deep dive into all the hilarious, surreal and possibly illegal stuff that happened during the blogging platform Tumblr's heyday. Each episode, I am joined by a guest to talk about an event or trend from Tumblr that still sticks with us to this day, as well as what they got out of their time on Tumblr and what it meant to them.
