Laurie Kilmartin has always been one of my favorite comedians. Her stand-up and her books are phenomenal, and her tweets genuinely make me laugh every day. We chat about her early days doing comedy in the Bay Area, day jobs, working the road, and writing for Tough Crowd and Conan.

Pat House is a nationally-touring comedian based out of Philadelphia. A regular performer in comedy clubs, casinos, and theaters all over the country, Pat has been a choice opener for Sebastian Maniscalco, Tom Segura, and Dan Cummins. He recorded his first album Biggest Thing in 2013, and his latest album Heard Enough Yesterday, hit #1 on the iTunes comedy charts. Both can be heard on iTunes, Amazon, and Pandora.

Laurie is an Emmy-nominated writer for CONAN on TBS and has performed standup on CONAN, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and Comedy Central. She was a Top 10 finalist on season 9 of Last Comic Standing. Her first book, Shitty Mom, was a NY Times bestseller. Her Seeso (RIP) special, 45 Jokes About My Dead Dad, was named Vulture's Top Ten Comedy Specials of 2016

Her book "Dead People Suck" - a comedic memoir about hospice, cancer, grief and losing a parent, was released by Rodale Press in Feb 2018 and is available in bookstores, or online here at AmazonB&NBooks a MillionIndieBound.
