Meet Dan Sweeney - one of the funniest dudes I’ve met in SC. By day he’s a carpenter, and you can follow his work @wisecrackwoodworks on Instagram. He’s an aspiring golfer with a mean stinger draw, and he runs a podcast with his finance Katie called “Coots & Pen.” Originally from Connecticut, Dan is now living in Charleston where he’s been doing standup for the last 5 years. He has a ridiculously dark sense of humor inspired by his dad’s close call with 9/11 and a history of drug and alcohol abuse. On this episode we talk about the most f’d up movies we’ve ever seen, the state of the world post COVID, what happens when we die, Dan’s nostalgia for the 80’s and 90’s and more. Dan’s great.
