Medical Scare, Govt Education's Lack of Substance and How Poor Sensemaking Can Lead to Good and Bad Decisions.

We are back from spring break!

The podcast starts with the boys discussing Nate’s medical scare. Is he going to die? Did he get injected with superhuman drugs like Captain America? Tune in to find out!

They then have a lively discussion about the FDA’s drug schedule and how it was so right about marijuana. Naturally, this leads to more takedowns of the governmental system, starting with the education system since President Bidens came out with a new proposal to aid families with child care.

Not to be outdone, Nate then explains his disagreement with how the CDC has handled the whole pandemic and those who hang on their every word by being overly cautious even though, with new information and evidence, we should be changing our outlooks.

Of course, the guys get into a discussion about Cryptocurrency and how even though many people made the right choice to invest in bitcoin, maybe they don’t have all the tools of sensemaking to make other good decisions - like wearing masks. 

Similarly, they speak about Dogecoin investors who, while they may have gotten rich and lucky, will have difficulty holding onto their newfound wealth through similar mechanisms of poor sensemaking as discussed with the bitcoin anti-maskers.
