First, we start off with a little banter about vaccines in salad dressing and a few poop jokes.

Then we get into the real meat of our podcast, the Evergrande crisis. We start out by providing some background on China, Evergrande, and the crisis overall.

This leads to some discussion about how business is done in China and how the financial system has changed since 2008 including how Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger don't fully appreciate those changes and causes the conversation to devolve into a short digression about ice cream via a discussion about Dairy Queen.

We then manage to get back on track and finish up on Evergrande and how it impacted the market this week and how it might impact the United States in the future and how it has impacted Bitcoin which leads to a conversation about the current state of Bitcoin.

This leads to a conversation about the debt ceiling and how the Republicans are fighting on it. This leads to a discussion about the current state of the Republican party and the current state of the Union. Spoiler alert: it's bad and it might get worse. This leads to some banter about what would happen to the podcast if Luc or Nate died.

Then we finish out with a discussion about Apple's plan to surveil its own customers.
