Best known as the longtime House Drummer for the Saturday Night Live band, Shawn Pelton has also recorded and or toured with Sheryl Crow, Jon Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, Pink, Shakira, Kelly Clarkson, Ray Charles, The Brecker Brothers, Shawn Colvin, Les Paul, the Hank Williams tribute album with Bob Dylan, Daryl Hall and a lot more. We talk about growing up in Missouri, Studying with Kenny Aronoff, Moving to New York City and paying dues with the likes of John Eddie and Southside Johnny and The Asbury Jukes. We talk about scoring the SNL gig, and what it takes to do the job. We talked about his entire career as we drank Tequila together. Play the home game - drink along with us.
