Each week, join the Hyrule Podcasters as we play through all (well, almost all) The Legend of Zelda games in (roughly) release date. Our hope is that this podcast will transport you back to the first time that you played through this truly magical series.
Ben is going to wrap up The Legend of Zelda today. After a quick intro and recap, (4:24) Link makes his was to Dungeon 9, Death Mountain. After battle his way through the dungeon (largely without the use of a guide), (17:20) they stumble across the Silver Arrows — the only item that can truly defeat Ganon. After dying and grabbing a potion, (24:40) we finally come to our showdown with The Prince of Darkness himself, Ganon! Then, (27:30) as a bit of treat, we start up the hidden 2nd quest and play til we die — it doesn't take very long...
And with this, we are halfway through season 1. Come back next week as we start The Adventure of Link!
