Previous Episode: Ep 164: Shan Spies
Next Episode: Ep 166: Jamie Lissow

Liz Miele is an NYC-based comedian that has appeared on Comedy Central, FOX, Hulu and NPR’s "Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me". She regularly tours internationally, has two albums out on Spotify and iTunes and just released her first special SELF HELP ME available on YouTube. She also cohosts the medical advice podcast "2 Non Doctors" alongside friend and comedian Maria Shehata. Liz joins Stephen to talk about:
-how Liz used to refine material before lockdown and new alternatives she's found to continue honing her comedy craft.
-how she takes small moments that affect her viscerally and develops jokes that are super relatable.
-her new special SELF HELP ME (out on YouTube now!) and how she adapted to releasing her special in the middle of the pandemic.
-her reaction to people saying, “I like you and I don’t usually like female comics”.
Then they get into some self-help, including a quote from a robot, how to stop saying "sorry" all the time, and the best engraved message for a compass for a boyfriend. And so much more.
