It's no secret we love deer hunting. We love it all from habitat improvement to careful monitoring with trail cameras and time spent in the stand. But are we doing everything we can to protect the deer we love? Chances are, we aren't. Sure there are national organizations like National Deer Association, Ruffed Grouse Society, Ducks Unlimited, etc. that we can support through donations and memberships but sometimes the projects do not apply to everyone and regions become underrepresented. So what else can we do to help wildlife?

This week, we sit down with friend and deer-fanatic, Erich "Stretch". Stretch is an Ohio native and the owner of Drumming Log Wildlife Management- Deer Management Consultants and has been managing whitetails for over a decade.

Together, the guys discuss the topic of wildlife exploitation in the outdoor industry, influencer censorship considerations, and what it truly takes to be a conservationist and wildlife steward.
