It was a charming fixer-upper,  owned by a widower, who wanted to move closer to family. Rick and his fiance battled against multiple buyers and were so excited when their offer was accepted. However a few days into escrow they received a blow that could have caused them to lose their dream home. The wife of the seller was not dead at all. She was very much alive and wondering why her home was being sold. But the biggest shock was that the husband had no idea. He had a death certificate, so finding out his wife was a complete shock. It was Rick's years of experience in real estate that gave him the patience to ride it out and close the deal.
