On Wednesday, June 19, 2024, the Troy community held its Juneteenth Celebration in downtown Troy River Front Park, sponsored by the Troy NAACP. At the event, Hudson Mohawk Magazine Roaming Labor Correspondent Willie Terry interviewed District Two Troy City Councilman Ryan Brosnan and Troy Police Captain Anthony Connor about Juneteenth and Troy community issues. Also, in this labor segment, Willie recorded Jessica Ashley singing a civil rights song, "Ain't Gonna Let Nobody Turn Me 'Round."
