If you're a fan of delicious, homemade sourdough bread and you live in the capital region, you may have heard whispers about Ovenbird Baking. Professionally-trained baker Eliza Hunter started Ovenbird after she found herself at home when the COVID pandemic hit, selling loaves of tasty sourdough out of her home to friends and those who learned about her through word of mouth. Eliza combines her baking skills, art training, and her love of birds to make uniquely gorgeous loaves she now sells (and delivers!) to Instagram-savvy people in the know. HMM correspondent and sourdough fan Corinne Carey spoke with Eliza about Ovenbird Bakery.
