NYCLU Disappointed in Failure of Equality Amendment

The Equality Amendment to the New York State constitution would prohibit discrimination based on a person's race, ethnicity, national origin, disability, and sex (including a basis on pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression).
