The US has about 5% of the worlds population, but nearly 25% of the world's prison population. There are more than 2.3 million people behind bars on any given day.

In these final days of NYS’s legislative session, supprters and lawmakers from across the sate spoke at a recent press conference at the state capital in favor the passing Parole Justice legislation. Specificallly Elder Parole and the Fair and Timely perole Acts
