Recent changes to New York's ballot access law means that the Green Party will need to collect at least 45,000 signatures in the next six weeks in order to field a Presidential candidate in the November election. Dr. Jill Stein, the likely nominee, held a news conference at the State Capitol on Tuesday April 16 to launch the ballot access drive and to discuss issues such as the climate crisis, single payer health care, and the genocide in Gaza.
