This week's Plastic PSA features a local organizer in Watertown, Massachusetts who's raising awareness about the risks of artificial turf. Artificial turf is plastic turf that's often filled with tire crumb. While in place, synthetic turf smothers the earth AND releases greenhouse gases methane and ethylene.
