Al Bilali Soudan are all members of the same family, a well-known Tuareg griot family, from Timbuktu, Mali. They are currently on their US tour, making their way to the Sanctuary on October 16. The band and their producer spoke with Sina Basila Hickey about their music, instruments, and the way their songs can mediate conflicts.
