With all the bizarre, shocking and disappointing things happening in our culture, we must never lose sight of our God given calling and responsibility to shine as lights in a darkened world. In this sermon, the concept of God allowing futility to exist is explained for the purpose of causing many to see their need for a Savior. Therefore, we must transition from simply whining - about the saddening condition of our nation - to actually doing something about it for those in need; which will ultimately result in our fulfilling Christ's commissioning.
