MARK LEVINE is an American professor who has made quite an impression on China. He moved here ahead of the 2008 Olympics, and his love for his new home inspired him to write & perform original folk songs based on tales from the land and the people. He's both a China green card holder AND a recipient of the Friendship Award, which is the highest civilian honor China gives to foreigners. Mark is ALSO a special guest on our upcoming “How China Works LIVE!" event on August 20 in Beijing, with his friend and musical collaborator Ms. Fu Han.
