Dominic Raab has resigned as justice secretary and deputy prime minister after two allegations of bullying against him were upheld following an investigation by Adam Tolley KC. Judging by the tone of his resignation letter, he is not happy about it. 



North of the border, the SNP's struggles continue. Colin Beattie resigned as treasurer after being arrested as the police continue to look into the party's funding and finances.
