Huddled over a radio in the late eighties , tuned to pirate rave, breakbeat and jungle, L!TO then embraced hip hop during its "golden era". A pair of silver technics followed, with a deep desire to hone his DJ skills. A "JOURNEY INTO SOUND" began...

Into the early nineties, and heavily influenced by the transatlantic jacking sounds of DETROIT & CHICAGO a transition to HOUSE MUSIC followed - his true passion. The combination of the 4/4 kick, killer bass-lines and hypnotic disco infused beats via the likes of Derrick Carter, Daft Punk and DJ Sneak had L!TO hooked, and a self confessed VINYL junkie...

Perfecting the art of mixing, L!TO moved out of his bedroom and into bars, and clubs. Establishing residencies and promoting nights in Nottingham, Manchester and Leeds. 4 hour, VINYL ONLY sets on Saturday nights became a weekly occurrence, with recognition in local and international journals respectively...

Today, L!TO continues to push his signature disco-infused, jackin house sound at selected venues across the UK. DJ Mixes are uploaded via his DISTRICT HEAT Podcast on iTunes, and his FOOTWORK mix CDs on Soundcloud respectively...
