68- Ashley Schafer

Ashley Schafer is no doubt one the worlds most renowned barrel horse and futurity trainers. Not only that but she seems like the most humble human being with  horsemanship skills and knowledge galore!!
Ashley grew up riding, roping, and barrel racing, but really zoned in on her career as a barrel and futurity horse training when she started at the Jud Little ranch.   We think she just might encourage or inspire you to follow your passions in a similar way ;) 
She's since trained some NFR horses we watch today, and competed and won on many in the futurities as well. Can Man ( Freckles Ta Fame) and KR Last Fling ( LTE of around 140k ) were just a couple she mentioned in this convo, and we  were soaking up every minute of it! We dove into her training program,  prospects, life and much much more!
