We are so excited to bring you this interview with Helen Nowasad to talk about some of the greats that Shamrock Performance Horses has raised, produced and trained on their family operation.
We talk some of the many career highlights & opportunities that Alley " Raise The Gold Bar," has brought to Helen and her family, along with some other great mares she's had the opportunity to compete on, and now breed.
Helen has many accomplishments in the barrel pen including a couple of very prestigious arena records here in Alberta ( Calnash Arena in Ponoka with a 16.824 on a standard & Thorsby Haymaker Arena with a 14.325). She has also been our Alberta Barrel Racing Association Champ & Reserve Champ, and an LRA, PCRA,CPRA & WPRA money earner or winner. We were honored to talk with her about some of these great horses, runs, and experiences.
We also dive into having a top level breeding operation and how they manage their mares, stallions, ranch, foaling season, breeding season, prospects, and everything in between!
