This week we start our round of one of our favorite sub-genres, of a sub-genre - Lesbian Vampire movies with 1971's DAUGHTERS OF DARKNESS - directed by Harry Kumel.
Never have we wanted to be Renfields more than to the luminous Delphine Seyrig, the Countess Elizabeth Bathory herself! A stunning, atmospheric, lonesome vampire flick set in the winter on the Belgian seaside, this film is incredibly unique, and a feast for all senses! Beautiful, 70's lesbian vampires ahoy! Love this one!
