The Athens Lunatic Asylum was in operation from 1874-1993. Many patients walked through the doors the hospital notorious for giving lobotomies, and sadly hundreds never left. Could the cruelty the patients suffered at the hands of untrained medical workers and doctors who insisted on removing part of their brains be responsible for the hauntings? I'm going to say yes. Absolutely yes.
