One thing is for sure about Dear Esther, after you experience it, you are going to want to talk to others that have, too. Justin, Ethan, and Josh try to figure out if they saw what they thought they saw.

The Cursed Checkpoint is a topical video game podcast focused on discussions and interviews about a single video game, genre, news headline, or industry story. It features a rotating cast of up to 3 members of the Horrible Night writing staff and/or video game industry professionals.

We had no idea what to expect from Dear Esther, and have had an even harder time defining our true feelings about the experience. There seems to be no right or wrong way to make sense of Dear Esther, and it continues to haunt us. It just made sense to get together with others that had played the game and have a spoiler-filled conversation about what we saw and what we didn’t see.
