Ending Well part 3

An Encouraging Prayer:

3 John 1:2 NKJV
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health,
just as your soul prospers.

3 John 1:2 AMP
Beloved, I pray that in every way you may succeed and prosper
and be in good health [physically], just as [I know] your soul
prospers [spiritually].

Romans 8:27 New Living Translation
And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is
saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers[a] in harmony with
God’s own will.

Principle: My life is determined by what I agree with.

Proverbs 23:7 New King James Version
For as he thinks in his heart, so is he…

2 Corinthians 10:5 New King James Version
casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself
against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity
to the obedience of Christ,

Principle: If you agree with what the world is agreeing with you will
end up with what the world ends up with.

God Wants You To Prosper:

Principle: God has a big hand. When he puts his hand on your life
all areas are blessed.

Principle: For some things that God needs you to do, He’s going to
have to change you.

Acts 10:4 New International Version
…“Your prayers and gifts to the poor have come up as a memorial
offering before God.

Luke 16:11 New Living Translation
And if you are untrustworthy about worldly wealth, who will trust you
with the true riches of heaven?

Principle: Earthly riches are something to be stewarded.

Be In Good Health:

3 John 1:2 NKJV
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health,
just as your soul prospers.

Isaiah 53:5 New King James Version
But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.

Principle: When you or I allow the enemy to keep us in a place of
sickness we are miss handling the promises of God.

As Your Soul Prospers:

3 John 1:2 NKJV
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health,
just as your soul prospers.

Principle: First you have to prosper spiritually.

Matthew 5:30 New Living Translation
And if your hand—even your stronger hand—causes you to sin, cut
it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your
body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.
