Dr. Ilya Skolnikoff is a licensed chiropractor and Diplomate of the International Board of Applied Kinesiology. He has studied numerous systems of health care such as acupuncture, herbs, homeopathy, naturopathy, nutrition and others. He has helped a number of people with thyroid problems, Type 2 Diabetes, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia and high blood pressure to reverse their conditions relatively quickly.

As a chiropractic kinesiologist, Dr. Illya begins by describing Applied Kinesiology, the study of the relationship between muscles and emotions and different organs, glands and acupuncture meridians, the chakras and other parts of the body. He then discusses the importance of getting enough protein in our diet. Our bodies were made to consume protein but over time, humans have been consuming far too much sugar, which our digestive tracts are not designed to process. Thus, many modern diseases are caused by protein deficiency.

The word “Protein” means “of utmost importance.” Dr. Ilya says the best source of protein is from animals rather than plant proteins like nuts and legumes. Protein provides 2 1/2 times more energy than sugar does. Most people don’t get enough protein, high quality fats or drink enough water for including for good kidney health. As a longevity hormone, cholesterol is healthy since it helps with stress reduction, healthy brain function, bone health and strengthening our immune system.

Dr. Illya discusses the danger of starvation diets and taking unnecessary hormones like HCG. Restricting calories causes blood sugar imbalance which can contribute to other illnesses. He recommends increasing protein at five meals/day and increasing water consumption.
