We did it again!  With so many regional and local Sports Card events popping up again this month, here's what we've learned lately about going to the show!  Host Gary shares this episode about the excitement and the basics of getting the most out of your card show experience.  If you approach this with the right mindset, you'll have a blast, make some new friends, and enjoy finding some fantastic deals on the cards or players you're looking for. Some of Gary's best tips for making the most of your card show experience include... - Go early and talk sports with people - Plan your budget and your goals before you go. - Don't spend your cash on cards until you've seen every table or booth and what all is available that day. - Bundle up - make a deal with a seller for multiple cards and you're likely to get a discount. - Hustle - be willing to look for hidden gems and prospects in the basketball boxes with cards for a dollar, fifty cents, or a quarter! - Have as much fun as possible.  Listen to the stories and insights and opinions of others. - Follow some of the dealers and vendors on Instagram. - If you're coming to trade or sell something, know what it's actually worth and what you'll take for it. - Know what "season" we are in when it comes to the basketball card market.  Playoffs may still provide a bump, but most players and cards are becoming bargains as the summer approaches.
