This week on the show we have television showrunner, producer and writer Jason Ganzel. He talks with Will and Arthur about his origin story and breaking into show business. Jason began his career as a member of the production staff on several television series, including Married to the Kellys, Kevin Hill, So Little Time, and The Ellen Show. In 2004 he joined the writing staff of Desperate Housewives and spent seven years there, finishing out the series. Since then, he has served as writer and co-executive producer on several hit series including Graceland, Queen of the South, Grey’s Anatomy, and Dynasty. He is currently working on Naomi for the CW Network, developing the sports drama Broken Rim with former L.A. Laker Matt Barnes, Findlay Prep with Peter Dinklage and Carmelo Anthony, IMG Academy with Vice and Untitled, and show running Soul and Fury, a project with Debbie Allen and Terrence Howard. Jason grew up in Reno, Nevada and was a standout in track and field before shifting those skills over to basketball and eventually writing and producing.
