This week we consider the connection between the Baptism of Jesus, his Transfiguration, and eventual death on the Cross prefigured by the sacrifice of Abraham. These three events in the life of Christ are all connected by the revelation of Jesus's sonship to the Father. As we continue Lent, we would do well to internalize the Pasachal Mystery as part of our own relation to God as sons and daughters.
