Often we think of preaching as a special time for a learned teacher to offer pearls of wisdom to those who are interested, when in truth preaching is an act of the Holy Spirit that moves through the preacher to communicate the Gospel of Jesus Christ. With such a noble end, woe to us if we do not allow the Spirit to work in us with such power.
