Coordinator for the Community Centre, Kat Clerkin shares her experiences of working within the refugee community in Calais.

The community centre has a zero media policy but funds from Help Refugees (https://helprefugees.org/calais/) donations will make their way to the centre should you wish to donate. Help Refugees is a UK-based non-governmental organisation which provides humanitarian aid to, and advocacy for, refugees around the world. In 2016, it became the largest grassroots distributor of aid in Europe.
