Returning to the very first episode of the series, Josh reviews a Yoda-centric episode taking place shortly after the events of “Supply Lines” from Season 3. After Toydaria conspires with the Republic to provide aid to Ryloth, King Katuunko proposes a meeting between him and Jedi Master Yoda to discuss an alliance. Their meeting is thwarted, however, by Count Dooku and his apprentice, Asajj Ventress. Yoda is forced into a battle versus a battalion of battle droids with only the help of three clone troopers: Jek, Thyre, and Rys. While this episode is a fun introduction to action elements, and gives us a picture of inter-galactic political maneuvering, the core of the episode is Yoda’s sheer awesomeness. Both as a leader and a fighter, few can match the prowess of everyone’s favorite little green Jedi. Make sure to catch the episode and let us know what you think of the very first non-theatrical, aired episode of The Clone Wars.
