In what has turned into an annual part of Home One Radio’s calendar—yet, maybe not anymore with the conclusion of the trilogy—we have a two-part episode on a Thrawn book! We discuss the third and final book in Timothy Zahn’s new Thrawn trilogy. Thrawn: Treason. Spanning only a short period of time, Thrawn is, once again, plunged into a deeply-tangled web of mystery surrounding Project Stardust. Fighting to preserve his own TIE Defender project, Thrawn has only a week to try and solve a mystery, save his project, and possibly save the whole galaxy from a bigger threat. In the first part of our review, we talk about the setup of the book, some of the early character dynamics, and some of the bigger questions brought up in the first half. We save our full judgments and some bigger conversations for Part 2, so make sure to listen to episode #135 for those thoughts, as well. Merry Chissmas!
