This week, Blaine and Josh review the crown jewel of Marvel’s Star Wars comic line, Darth Vader, which ended its run last year after 25 issues. Written by Kieron Gillen and penciled by Salvador Larroca, Darth Vader takes place after the events of A New Hope and follows its titular protagonist as he seeks to regain the Emperor’s favor after the destruction of the first death star. They give their overall impressions, how the comic deepens the Dark Lord, and discuss some of the memorable secondary characters, including Dr. Aphra. Plus, they discuss the recently announced new comic series exploring Vader shortly after the events of Revenge of the Sith.
