#102 – Music, Home Ownership, Personal Goals, Positivity

Kevin and Tim sit down to discuss what music they’re listening to and some upcoming shows here in Atlanta, including AFI, Circa Survive, Hail the Sun, and others.  Slowly they find themselves in a touchy-feely conversation that explores what it means to have life goals, and also the paths that we follow in achieving them.  What it’s like to fail in those objectives, and how it makes us better for having at least attempted them.  They discuss the titles that we all give ourselves, and how they shape us as individuals.  Finally, how politics plays a role in all of that, and how they feel we should look at and treat each other on a broader scale.  They are joined briefly by a guest appearance by Dan who stops in the studio to really bring everything full circle.

Home Before Dark hearkens back to a time when you and your friends in the neighborhood were forced inside. Where you discovered a level of brotherhood/sisterhood that could only be forged through playing video games, watching movies, television and discussing the finer things in life over an Orange Lavaburst Hi-C and Bagel Bites. We take the time out to talk about the current games we're playing, movies we've seen recently(new or old) and all the things in between.
