People come to worship expecting lots of things. Some want to feel good, others want to be challenged. Some seek affirmation, others insight. In the end however, if the worship expectations are about us, we may be disappointed. God sets the agenda for our encounter with God is worship is God’s alone. We should never expect to be left the same as when we gathered. We are to be salt, light, hope, grace in a world that desperately needs all of that and more. How do we worship?
