This week we are joined by Tony Tudor to discuss the father of the biggest empire in recorded history: Temujin aka Genghis Khan. Born into a humble steppe family, he spent his young life being kidnapped, enslaved and constantly challenged by the environment and society of the Mongol steppe. This humble beginning would build the character necessary to unite the warring Mongol tribes to create an unstoppable conquering force that would reshape the world and inadvertently invent neoliberalism.
