Previous Episode: Ep. 119 - The O.S.S.

This week we are joined by legal expert Legalman from The Quash podcast to discuss an era defining moment in French history. Supposedly the moment Theodor Herzl had conceived of a Jewish state, this crisis culminated when the French Military railroaded a Jewish officer named Alfred Dreyfus for spying for the German Empire and sentenced him to life on "Devil's Island" off the coast of Guiana. The media and social backlash nearly tore the fragile Third French Republic apart and caused many of Europe's Jews to believe their time as members of European society in full standing was coming to an end. We probably have one of the most unique takes on this story on the web. Must listen!
