Season 3, Episode 13: Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder
FASD is a neurodevelopment condition with lifelong challenges. Whether that be emotional, cognitive and behavioural. It is an alcohol related birth disability caused by the exposure of alcohol in the womb. FASD is a lifelong, brain-based physical disability’s the result of prenatal alcohol exposure. No amount of alcohol is safe during pregnancy. FASD is the most misdiagnosed, undiagnosed and under-diagnosed of all developmental disabilities. ⁣
