Hip and Humble Podcast is a blending of two different generational perspectives on the history of technology and home goods. We talk about vintage and antique collectibles and things, their worth, and the history behind them, along with some interesting stories and a few opinions here and there. The show is hosted by myself, Aram Rice, a former Navy Submariner, and my mother Kimberly Rice, an Antique Picker, photographer and the strongest woman I know save my wife of course! We are both creative and open people who like to talk about everything under the sun especially things we are passionate about. Antiques are a shared passion and they have brought our family closer. We want to share this joy with everyone, we certainly hope you'll join us, and of course, stay hip and stay humble!

Episode 68 - Quit Pulling My Leg

August 13, 2022 04:00 - 47 minutes - 43.3 MB

I pick things up and put them down. Humans moving things from one place to another is as old as our species. In this episode, we talk about the credited inventor and the origins with more than a bit of comparison to modern culture thrown in for good measure. We hope you enjoy this as much as we did! Stay H...

This week we take a look at picnics and their role in the French revolution. We hope you enjoy and take from this a message of relation and ...
