On this episode, I interviewed Emily Gaudreau - a former playboy photographer, turned child sexual abuse prevention educator and anti-pornography activist. She is a woman on a mission to stop the cycle of sexual trauma and open our eyes to the high price we're paying for our pornified culture.

After interviewing Emily, I realized how much of a "light worker" she is and how much we need other people who are shining lights onto things that are not spoken about in our society... that we need light workers in areas that are NOT just healing modalities and occupations. Emily & I talk all about how to protect kids from sexual abuse, how to recognize when a child is consuming pornography and what that does to them psychologically, socially, and later on in life through relationships etc. Emily talks about how protecting your children is not necessarily as intuitive as you think, and I am amazed at her work in educating parents AND children in keeping themselves safe from sexual assault and living a life of sexual shame.

I know so many people who have dealt with sexual trauma, assault, shame, or KNOW someone who has and are dealing with secondary trauma. I strongly encourage you to find a therapist to support you through EMDR, neurofeedback, etc. & to learn what you need on your healing journey - which is different for everyone.

I also encourage you to participate in Emily's free resources, and forward to someone else who you think could use this information. HINT: YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A PARENT TO FIND THIS INFORMATIVE AND POTENTIALLY BE ABLE TO HELP SOMEONE ELSE **
