Getting SUPER into fitness and moving my body in high school to cope with stress and anxiety, I realized that it made me feel so empowered, and usually when I was crushing it in the gym, achieving goals, feeling strong and confident... the rest of my life benefited too. I succeeded more at work, in school, had less anxiety, and more confidence around social situations & friends...

But I also realized that there was something about being identified as "fit" that wasn't long lasting.. it wasn't always fulfilling. There was part of my self-worth trapped entirely into my fitness status, my body, my career....

I saw with so many of my clients who WANTED to change either self sabotage their goals, OR not be able to stick to their plans. Usually, this was because their boundaries, their self-belief, their lives didn't support their goals. There was other things that needed some serious work if they were going to get where they wanted - and not only that, but to feel happy and fulfilled once they got there.

Fitness & your body are temporary .. internal happiness & peace will follow you and carry you wherever you go. It's so so so important.... fitness and nutrition are just a component that can be EXTREMELY helpful in this.

Now - with not only my fitness clients but individual life coaching clients: I look at THREE aspects... body, mind and soul.

So we not only look at what you're doing for fitness... but your energy, your food choices, your coping mechanisms, your relationships, your job, confidence, anxiety, sleep, gratitude, daily routine, how you can feel more centered and confident and set the boundaries that you need to do to FINALLY feel like yourself again.

In this episode I talk about when I realized fitness wasn't enough, and how it shifted my career.
