This week on the High Wire Woman podcast, Rosanna Berardi is talking about becoming an alpha-level woman. Her guest, Robin Rotenberg, is an award-winning author, and the founder of Rotenberg Consulting (Alpha Women Rock). Robin is a keynote speaker and mentor and has shared her journey of reinvention as a corporate woman with many audiences over the years. She joins Rosanna on this episode to talk about finding your voice and having the courage to assert yourself, to release the Alpha woman inside you.

You'll hear Rosanna and Robin talk about:

Women in the corporate world are very reluctant to say what they want and assert themselves. Robin says we have to find our voice and be confident in ourselves and in the value of our work.

What is an alpha woman? There are phases of being an alpha woman, and not every alpha woman is the same. We have different characteristics and motivations which drive us. Robin describes those characteristics in her upcoming book ‘From The Glass Slipper to The Glass Ceiling.’

When you go back to the workplace, have confidence in knowing what will work for you in the new working environment.

Our work and home lives are going to blur so we need to be flexible. We will be able to manage that flexibility properly with courage and defined boundaries.

We can’t be everything to everyone or try to dedicate our time to everything at once. We should give time to the important things in our lives but we must also remember our dreams and who we want to be.

To become alpha women we need to have courage, confidence, boundaries, and be able to assert ourselves and say what we want.
